Choosing Your Pillow
All Proper Pillows are 60 × 40 cm, designed to fit standard UK pillowcases (50 × 75 cm).
Each Proper Pillow is designed around the way you sleep. Our Back Sleeper Pillow is shaped for balanced support, our Side Sleeper Pillow offers deeper support for the shoulder gap, and our Front Sleeper Pillow has a lower profile to help reduce neck strain. The Side Sleeper Pillow includes a removable middle foam layer, giving you two height settings so you can choose the level of support that feels most comfortable. The Front Sleeper Pillow uses adjustable shredded foam fill, allowing you to fine-tune the height more precisely at home. The Back Sleeper Pillow has a carefully designed fixed height for balanced support without adjustment.
If you're switching from a very different pillow height, your neck and shoulders may need a few nights to adapt. We recommend giving it at least a week before deciding if it's right for you.
Materials & Care
Proper Pillow covers are made from breathable bonded air fabric. The filling of the Back and Front sleeper is shredded memory foam and foam particles while the filling of the Side Sleeper is Memory Foam.
Yes. The outer cover can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach or Dry Clean, and tumble dry on low heat only. Do not iron. Don't was the inner cover or filling.
Like many foam products, your pillow may have a slight "new foam" smell when first opened. This is normal and should fade quickly once aired out. We recommend airing it out for 24-48 hours after first unpacking it.
Our pillows have been designed for adult sleep positions and support needs, so we do not recommend them for children.
Trial, Returns & Delivery
Every Proper Pillow comes with a 100-Night Trial so you can sleep on it properly at home. If it's not the right fit, you can return it for a full refund.
Yes. The 100-Night Trial allows one opened pillow per customer to be returned if it isn't right for you.
Your item will normally be shipped within 1 working day, however at the moment we are taking pre-orders and expect to dispatch orders on the 13 July and delivery takes approximately another 2 working days.
